After a PhD in experimental mineralogy, I specialised in the thermodynamic and kinetic modelling of mineral reactions with various applications in the fields of Earth geodynamics, storage of radioactive waste, sequestration of CO2 and natural hydrogen production. I have been scientific coordinator of the European network ERA-MIN on the industrial handling of non-energy raw materials. Since then, I conduct researches on the interactions between mineral resources, energy, and economy. My research is presently focused on the mineral resources-energy nexus in connection with the transition toward low-carbon energy, and the dynamic modelling of reserve-production-recycling-demand-cost-price at the global scale on the long term.
